We have spaces avaliable in our Pippins room and Apple room. From Sept 19
Our aim at Little Pippin's is to enhance the development and education of the children through play. There is also a section on the origins of the Pre School Playgroups Association, now renamed as the Pre School Learning Alliance , of which Little Pippins is a member. If you want to hold a place for the future you will need to make sure you have complete and return our registration form. We are sure you will find the Pre School a safe and comforting place to be and it will provide an excellent and fun start to your child´s education. Feel free to call for a visit and look round.
Ethos and Mission Statement
Our ethos and vision in the setting is for Little Pippins Preschool
to be a fun, friendly and fantastic place for your children to flourish,
achieve and grow.
All staff and committee officers have had input into this vision and
have all signed up to this for the children in our care.
NAMING YOUR CHILD'S ITEMS:
Can we please ask that all items brought into the setting are named. It is much easier to send children home with the correct coats, shoes, lunchboxes, tubs etc, if they are clearly named.
USING THE FOOTPATH:
It is very important that parents and carers ALWAYS use the footpaths to access the setting and NOT walk through the carpark. This is to avoid accidents and to teach the children road safety.
We always welcome parents and carers to come and spend a session with us. If you can spare some time to come and play, read and get crafty with us please speak to a member of staff.
USE OF THE CAR PARK:
Please be reminded that the Car Park is only for use by Staff members, Blue Badge holders, that are attending Little Pippins.
This decision has been made to be in line with the Greenmeadow School Rules.
Please avoid bringing in your child's pushchair into the building . Please store in shelter around the side of the building. Pushchairs are not permitted past the reception areas for health and safety reasons.
The Pre-School is open Monday to Friday.
The setting is open for 38 weeks each year. We provide care and education
for young children between the ages of 2 and 4 years, in our preschool and Breakfast and After school provision we care for children aged 4-11 years.

Government Initiative Safeguarding
Our setting has a duty under the law to help safeguard children against suspected or actual ‘significant harm’. Therefore we have a duty of care to the children we care for and have a responsibility to pass on concerns to children social care.
Our employment practices ensure children against the likelihood of abuse in our settings and we have a procedure for managing complaints or allegations against a member of staff.
