Session times and Fee's
The Pre-School is open Monday to Friday. The setting is open for 48 weeks each year. We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 and 4.11mths years, in our preschool and After school and Holiday club provision we care for children aged 3-9 years. The session times are below: SEPT 2022
Apple room (Full day care age 2-4 )
Morning sessions 8-1pm £28.25 (price for 2 year olds till the half term after third birthday - £30)
Afternoon sessions 1-6pm £28.25 (£30)
All day 8am-6pm £56.50 (£60) or 9am-5pm £45.20 (£48) or 9am-4pm £39.55 (£42)
Pippins room (Sessional Care age 2-4years)
Morning session 9-12pm- £16.95 (£18)
Afternoon sessions 12-3pm £16.95 (£18)
ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGE
Parents may request extra hours/ Sessions, but must be requested in writing and agreed with Preschool manager in advance. extra hours/ Sessions will be charged at the hourly rate of £5.65 for all 3 and 4 year old and £6.00 for a 2 year old.
Early Educational Funding only covers the cost of childcare that is provided, all other consumables we use including snacks, Online Access to Learning Book etc are not covered in the funding which we get from the government (which is currently £4.35 an hour for funded 3-4 year olds and £5.52 for 2 year olds).
Due to this deficit, we have been forced to put an additional service charge in place from September 2022, this will be £1.50 a session in our Pippins room and £2 a session in Apple room.
This will not cover the full shortfall between our hourly fees and the EEF however we feel that £1.50/ £2.00 a session is affordable for parents and will cover the additional items we provide.
The additional service charge which is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving the 15 or 30 hours funding entitlement.
If you opted to provide the additional items rather than pay the £1.50/£2.00) per session, please see the list below and the attached snack list for items which you will be required to provide:
Snacks any fruit or Veg
Cereal or bread for toasting (if you attend AM session Apple Room).
Fruit (if your child attends a PM or ALL day session Apple Room).
Tea snack for evening late afternoon apple room snack.
Nappies, wipes and nappy sacks (If applicable).
Spare clothes and carrier bag.
Sun Cream
Waterproof suit/Jacket and trousers.
High Visibility Jacket.
Plastic Wallet
You will also still need to provide your own packed lunch.
An invoice will be issued when we do a cooking activity, visitors such as Rugbytots, Jonathans Jungle Roads, Woodland way- Forest schools or external visits to the library. This will not be more than £2.00 per time. There is also a 50p/£1 charge for activities the children join in due to purchasing resources- cooking ingredients.
If snacks are required (in the event, they are forgotten) an invoice for £0.50-£1.00 will be issued.

Friday afterschool 1.00-3.25 £11.20 (£11.70)
A 50p charge will be added to fees for children collected from Haydon Wick, Haydonleigh and Rodbourne Cheney . This is to go towards the cost of the staff member leaving the preschool at 3pm.
Example—a child collected from Haydon Wick School, staying until 5pm will be charged £9.40
Orchard Holiday Club Aged 4-11 years (preschool children can attend in the summer holiday when they start reception in September.
3-4 year olds will pay our hourly rate £5.65
8am -3pm Under 8's £26 Over 8's £22

Terms & Conditions (Preschool )
We have a minimum booking requirement of 2 sessions a week.
We strive to provide full day care and sessional care and believe a minimum period is necessary to build continuity.
Our prices do not include cost for consumables and Trips
Within our care we provide 15/ 30 hours funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and during funded hours we charge for consumables associated with the funded hours.
Parents may choose to provide their own consumables instead of paying the Additional service charge
Fees are paid for 48 weeks of the year and are payable termly in advance. funding will only cover 38 weeks a year.
The Preschool is closed on Bank Holidays as well a shutdown for 1 week at Christmas and 1 week end of August
There are no refunds for Bank Holiday closures or for absence due to holidays or sickness.
Our preferred payment method is bacs transfer and we will ask you to complete a mandate on Registration.
We also accept Nursery vouchers.
We require four weeks term time written notice to terminate our agreement with you and four weeks fees are
payable in lieu of notice.
